I am registered for BikeNY five borough ride and cannot make the trip this year. 
This event is sold out (30,000 riders!).  This is a wonderful way to see NYC on a bike with NO TRAFFIC!  I have ridden this terrific ride for the last 10 years, or so, and can't wait for the next one.  Unfortunately, it's not in the cards for this year.
I also have a hotel registration in Downtown NYC, about 2 miles from the starting point, which I can switch to you.  The rate is only $145 per night.
Date of the ride is Saturday, May 2.
