RBC will again be a sponsor for Bike-to-Work day on May 19, 2006, providing financial support and manning a sponsor table at the event. This is a great opportunity for the Club to promote local cycling and to increase its visibility in the community as key advocate for easing traffic congestion and protecting our environment.
We urgently need volunteers to man our table from 6:30AM to 9:00AM to answer questions, promote the event, and provide club registration forms to prospective Club members. Since we are also in the midst of a drive to increase our membership, this event is particularly important this year.
Please let any board member know if you able to help - even if you're available for just a portion of the time that would be a big help. It's also lots of fun!
