Bike-to-Work Day May 15
This year’s bike to work day is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2009. Put on by the Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA), bike to work day encourages bicycle commuting as a viable way to get to work.
WABA sets up pit stop stations all around the Metropolitan DC area and hands out literature and encouragement to bicycle commuters. Reston Bike Club is proud to help sponsor this year’s event at the Reston Town Center. Information booths will be open from 6:00 to 9:30 am for those who wish to stop by to learn more about bicycle commuting or just take a break from their commute. We hope to see you there.
