Apr 15 meeting about bike lanes for Lawyers Road
Second community meeting about he Lawyers Road re-striping and bike lane additions - Wed, Apr 15, 7 PM Langston Hughes MS.
VDOT is proposing to re-stripe Lawyers Road (in Reston) from 4 to 3 lanes with
5-foot bike lanes between Fox Mill Rd and Myrtle Lane in Reston. VDOT
recently held a public meeting to discuss the project and receive
feedback from the community. About 30 people attended the meeting,
including many cyclists. A second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday,
April 15 at 7pm at Langston Hughes Middle School. Some local
opposition is expected and cyclists are encouraged to attend and
support the project.
