Hope springs eternal. Let's find the cherry blossoms without finding parking. But as of 3/23 the National Park Service has the peak from 4/8-4/12. Perhaps we'll get lucky and see some!
A weekly ride for us solo day riders to ride with others and to get to know those we pass or get passed by on the trail or in the neighborhood. It's a ride with an opportunity to put down some miles and have some fun. Speed? We'll agree the day of the ride. The ride will be on the W&OD and on some area roads.
This is a 29.8 mile ride with the return by Metro. Details of the meeting place and route are shown below.
The ride will not go if less than 40o or more than 50% chance of precipitation. No-go call will be by 8:00 a.m. Helmets required, some money, Metrocard & a bike lock are good to haves.
Please register. It helps us with head counts and to let you know if any salient details change. Club policy is that a guest may ride with us once to "try us out" but we will welcome them as members on subsequent rides.
