Who Doesn't Love Chocolate?
As the days get colder there's no better incentive to ride than chocolate! Join us on this very social adventure to a local artisan chocolate maker shop in Fairfax that has a very special mission.
This ride is designed for beginners so we'll keep our speed down and coach riders through intersections that appear to be challenging (but aren't once you know how to read them). If you're not a beginner, you're still welcome but manage your expectations for speed, please. The ride this time will be about 10 miles each way.
Limited to 15 people including ride leaders. Ride leader will bring a long cable and ulock to keep bikes together while we're inside. Don't forget money to do all your holiday chocolate shopping. It will be cold, so layer up and make sure you have a head cover inside your helmet - it really makes a difference!
This is the second in a series of monthly chocolate rides. You'd be surprised how many excellent purveyors of the sweet stuff there are around here!
Helmets are required, red tailights are preferred. We'll post the ride route when we get closer and have a chance to do "one last check ride" to make sure there's no crazy construction going on.
