The League of American Wheelmen is hosting a webinar to discuss engagement with the Federal Government to improve road safety for cyclist.  RBC members are invited to join and add our support to this effort.  Chris 

Safer Bicycling through stronger car safety standards
The League is committed to making our roads safe for bicyclists. To do that we not only advocate for safer roads and infrastructure, but also for safer vehicles. This webinar will talk through two areas where we think the US DOT- and in particular the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) must do better on vehicle safety standards.

The first is testing cyclist automatic emergency braking systems in its 5 star safety rating program, and the second is in improving truck- cyclist safety through using sideguards on trucks.  We'll explain the issues, what solutions  the League is working on and how you can help.
